We have a solution for your extraction problem
With a fan we can go up, down, around corners and to any length of ducting or chimney you require. Chimney fan extractors normally sit on top off the chimney or on the end of long ducting. It replace the existing cowling if one is fitted. The chimney fan forms the waterproofing and the fan itself are weather resistant.
Kitchen and bathroom fans can be inline and do not always sit on the end of the ducting
I can build the basic fan into almost any shape and clad it with stainless, copper or paint it any color to fit in with your decor. Have a look under: IDEAS
Our fans are divided into three categories:
1. Heat resistant fans up to 280 deg C air temperature. Normally called chimney fans for braai's and fireplaces. The standard tiracamino fan can handle up to 200 deg C.
2. Standard air moving fans up to 70 deg C for kitchen canopys, bathrooms and for gas braai's when positioned correctly.
3. Custom designed fans that will
solve almost any problem.
Heat resistant fans. (Chimney Fan)
Our fans are as silent as one can get
and can be fitted with additional silencers or attenuators when needed.
Fans are normally fitted on top off the chimney or flue and replace the
weather cowl. Our fans can operate in high wind conditions.
We specialize in customized fans that are build to your requirements and special needs. This include designer extraction
systems for braai's and fireplaces.
If it involve
fireplaces, braais or anything to do with fans and extractors, please make use of our expertise.
Characteristic’s:
Self-cleaning heat resistant impellers
Reliable motors
Quiet
Flexibility on installation
Tried and tested for African conditions
Speed controlable
Fans need a lot
of thought. It is important to get us involved in the planning stages. Keep in mind; switch positions, fan outlets, electrical and flue sizes.

These fans are sensitive to heat and
care must be taken in positioning them. They can be used on gas braai’s, but are not suitable for wood fires.
The impeller design are not self cleaning and filters must be
use to keep fat and soot deposits out of the system. These fans are normally inline and sits directly in the airstream, causing any deposits to build-up on them. Fat and oily deposits can melt and run into the motor and electrical parts. Hot oily deposits can create a fire hazard.
Keep in mind when selecting a fan:
Size of canopy or braai
Smoke or steam and odour extraction
Speed controlable
Position of fan motor
Space where fan must fit
220v or 3phase
Position of discharge point
Duct sizes

Bathroom fans.
Bathroom fans can be extremely functunal and quiet when planned properly.
Planning tips:
Size of room
Steam or fume extraction
Position of extraction point
Position of fan motor
Cold draft in shower
Fans extract air, from where replaced
Speed controlable
Auto on off sensor and timer improve extraction
Water condensation
Position of discharge point
I am sure you have experienced fans that make more noise than extracting anything.
Remember a little planning can make a visit to the bathroom or shower much more relaxing. Take a bath without the feeling of sitting next to a boeing engine.
Noise.
The fan position will play a important role in noise levels. Some installations will require to install silencers or sound absorbing insulation.
Fans that are installed incorrectly might vibrate through the brick
structure or resonate in the steel ducting.
The further the fan motor from you the less fan noise. It will not always be possible to put the fan on the end, specially in short ducting or if venting direct into the cieling.
Custom built fans
Fans are a specialized
field that require planning and evaluating each chalange on its own.
We use a variety of materials such as stainless steel, galvanized,
power coated and mild steel to manufacture our fans to your specifications. Power and powder coutings are not the same
Spec your fan right and your problem end, choose the wrong fan and you will have endless problems.

Controllers and wiring.
Some speed controllers are bulky and not nice on the eye. The controllers must be
hidden and controlled via a pod or 3 lever switches to control the speed. It can also be hidden in some canopys.
Sometimes you will hear the air (wind) going through the filters,
if fitted. The positive side is: you can adjust the fan speed if a speedcontrol are fitted.
